You're So Kind

This is a little notebook created from coaster sized chipboard and covered with DP from the discontinued Inque Boutique line. I got this at a super steal price from a local craft store and love this cardstock. To embellish this notebook I used some of the new Fancy Polka Dot Ribbon in yellow and green from Creative Charms. I also used on of the Shimmer Flowers in green and white and a white Dream Garden butterfly. I dotted the "i" with one of the Gradient Gem Stickers for a little bling! Stamp and sentiments as well as the punch are from SU.

You're Too Kind...

A simple act of kindness deserves a simple card to thank someone for that kindness!  The card base is made at 5 1/2" square using Gemstones cardstock from Core'dinations in Pink Diamond.  The DP is from the BoBunny a gift of love collection using the Jazmyne Dew Drops.  I love the glitter on this card stock.  I embellished this card with a pink picot satin ribbon and a large pink posey and stamped the sentiment from SU using Vintage Labels and Whimsical Words and punched it out with coordinating SU punch.  Love how these work together and think I will be using them a lot!

A Little Something...

We had our semi-annual Girlfriends Scrapbooking Retreat a couple weeks ago and this is the gift bag I made for everyone.  The flowers were cut using the Make the Cut software with my Cricut and the borders were punched with the MS zig zag embossing punch, I love the look of this punch!  CS and DP are all from CTMH.  This was very simple and easy to make.  It was fun filling it up with little gifts and treats.

Spread a Little Sunshine...

I finally finished the card for the Green, Yellow, Brown challenge on the Bildlamarna challenge blog but I am a day (actually more like a week) late and a dollar short as usual.  Sometimes those creative juices just flow kind of slowly (or it could be I am going a little more slowly these days!).  Anyway here is the card I finally finished. This little cutie is named Mimosa from the Bildmalarna Stamps which come from Sweden and she reminds me of my precious little granddaughter.  I think these stamps are soooo adorable!  I colored Little Mimosa using my copic markers: skin (E000, E00, E11 & R20) hair (E25, E29 & E31) ant the Dress (YG0000, YG01, YG03 &Y11, Y13 & Y15).  The CS used is the Colonial White Textured for the base from CTMH, Coordinations Gemstone in Citrine, Basic Grey Origins double sided CS and green stripe vellum I had in my stash.  I embellished the card with the Layered Vintage Flowers from Creative Charms and accented the flowers with the 3D Vintage Brads Antique Flower also from CC.  Can I just say that I love the Vintage look these embellishments give to this card.  Here is a close up of the stamped image and the flowers. I also added a couple sprigs of leaves using the MS punch.  If you want to see more of my creations be sure to become a follower or sign up for email updates!

Pretty in Pink...

Birthdays are a special day and this card was made to make someone's birthday extra special this year.  This adorable Magnolia stamp is Dinner Tilda from the Yummy For Your Tummy collection and she is all dressed up and ready to go to a party.  She is colored using Copic Markers:  E000, E00, E11 & R20 for the skin, G20, G21 & G24 with R000, R81 & R83 for her outfit and for the hair used E25, E49, E53 & E59 and the shoes used C3, C5, C7 & C9.  The springlike theme of this card is highlighted with the adorable felt flowers, 3D butterflies and Pure Blossoms all in pink from Creative Charms.  I used MS punches to make the leaves and also for the border.

A Little Birdie told me...

The sun is shining today and I saw my first sign of Spring even though it doesn't officially start until the weekend!  Looking out the window of my workshop there was a robin sitting in the crab apple tree in my front yard.  Such a welcome sign!  Here is a little basket I made to welcome Spring decorated with the Sparkled Flowers and Sparkled Butterflies collection from Creative Charms.  The Dream Garden Dream Brads inside the basket must have attracted a visitor.  If you look closely you will see a little birdie peeking out of the basket guarding her egg!  Happy Spring!

Hello Friend!

I love the colors in this cardstock, so bright and refreshing.  This accordian fold card would be sure to brighten a friends day.  I like working with cards with different types of folds and the double sided cardstock makes it so easy to match the colors. The carstock used is from TPC Studio and is the "Sunny Bunny" collection.  I used the MS zig zag border punch on the front for dimension and added the flower sentiment using pop dots to set it off.  The flowers were cut with Nestabilities flower die. I added some bling using the Sunny Bunny shaped jewels. Love this little chickie!  You can see this card in person at the Crop Shop along with a lot of other beautiful cards and layouts.

Hippity, Hoppity, Easter is on it's way!

Spring is definitely my favorite time of year, time to look forward to new beginnings and new birth!  This adorable stamp is such a breath of fresh air and is from the Bildmalarna stamp collection. This stamp is available from Cindy at StampingScrapping.com who is the new North American distributor for Bildmalarna.  This was my first Bildie stamp ever and I think the beginning of a new obsession!  This image on this Easel Card was colored with Copics and the base CS is from Bazzill.  The DP is from the Martha Stewart Playful Pink pad and the used the MS Lace Border punch for the borders.  Pastel pink pears were added for dimension.  The sentiment inside is from CTMH Eastertime stamp set.  Green dot ribbon is from Bo Bunny.  Hope you enjoy this glimpse of Spring!

Butterfly Kisses!

I thought I would share another layout that I did from my son's wedding.  These were 2 of my favorite photos from the wedding. So romantic!  This is a 12x12 layout using designer CS from CTMH and DCWV and solid CS from Bazzill called String of Pearls.  Loved the shimmery color of this CS.  The title, Butterfly Kisses was cut on the Cricut using the Gypsy font using gold metallic and black CS, The embellishments are from Creative Charms and are from the Flared Flowers & Bling Kit in white.

Spring Layout

Thought I would share something different this time.  This is a layout I did for a design team assignment.  It just screams Spring and since I am sitting here watching even more snow come down I thought this would warm the soul.  This layout was made using the new Sunflowers from Creative Charms and the Pure Blossoms in pink.  CS used is from CTMH Key Lime, Crystal Blue and Baby Pink. The Pink Gradient Gems and Fancy Polka Dot Ribbon are also from Creative Charms.

Happy Easter

Spring is only about 5 weeks away, can't get here soon enough for me.  Time to turn my thoughts to Easter as it will be early this year, April 4th.  Here is another card using the BoBunny-A Gift of Love CS and stamps from Inkadinkado.  The chick sitting on the egg was colored using the Gamsol magic technique giving it the soft colors of Spring.  Enjoy!

Happy Birthday...

Here is a simple Birthday card once again using the BoBunny - A Gift of Love CS collection.  It is embellished with Daisy Dreams Snow flowers from Prima and a large dotted ribbon from BoBunny.  Large pale blue pears enhance the lower right hand corner.  The sentiment on the front is from StampingScrapping.com the Scent with Love Label Accents stamp set and is stamped on a tab cut from the Fabulous Finds Cricut cartridge.

A Non-Traditional Valentine Card

This is an accordion fold card I made using non-traditional colors for Valentines day.  It uses the BoBunny A Gift of Love CS collection in blues, greens and browns.  Such a beautiful combination of color. Used CTMH stamp pad in Twilight, cut the heart using Make the Cut software and embossing with cuttlebug folder.  Base card uses Artesian Pool and the flower is cut out from the BB CS and layered in Artesian Pool and Java CS from Bazzill.  A pale blue pearl enhances the flower center.  The sentiment on the 2nd panel is from Stampin Up and the sentiment on the 3rd panel is computer generated and enhanced again with the pale blue pearls in the lower right corner..
