Welcome to Creative Charms Blog Hop. If you arrived here from
Amy's Blog then you are on the right track. If you didn't, go you can start
HERE at the beginning. This adorable stocking can double as both a Christmas Ornament for your tree and a gift card holder. Just flip up the cuff on the stocking and fill it with a gift card of your choice. Anyone would love to receive one of these Christmas stockings! The stocking was cut with my cricut and adorned with Christmas Holly and red Vintage Jewels. A loop of the red Velvet Ric Rac Ribbon is used to hang the stocking!
Here is is open with a card inside! I also used an embossing folder to add dimension and texture to the stocking. The "Berries" are popped up with dimensionals. Super easy and fun to make.
Here is a link to the pattern to make the stocking.
I made a few of these adorable Tissue Covers for Christmas gifts last year. I used a Winter Theme so they could be used beyond the Holidays. The snowflakes are in the
Winter Medley set of the Seasonal Medley collection and layered over the punched snowflakes from blue glitter CS.
They are accented with
Gradient Gem Stickers to give them more sparkle and are also added to the snowflakes on the top border. The panels on the tissue cover are embossed using the Cuttlebug embossing folders and inked to bring out the embossing. These were a big hit with the recipients!
